About me

My name is Dolors and my surname Cervera. I am writing this post to tell you a little bit about me.  

I am going to be your English teacher this school year. I have worked at this high-school for four years now, but I started my career as a teacher eight years ago in Barcelona.

Now I live in Borrassà with my boyfriend, Edgard, our two chidren, Max and Blanca, and our cat, Gollum. We have lived there for three years.

I studied Translation and Interpreting at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I really love learning and speaking different languages. That is why I decided to study and work abroad for some time when I was younger. In my university years, I lived one year in France and one year in Denmark, and later, two years in the USA.

I really enjoy teaching, but I also have got some hobbies. In my free time, I like reading and playing board games. I usually meet my friends on Saturdays. We play board games, watch football on TV and have lunch together. I don’t practise any sports, but I like to go swimming once a week. In summer, I love to walk outside and in winter I like to sit on the coach with a warm blanket and a cup of coffee.
